In Iowa, driver licensing is handled by the Iowa Department of Transportation, Motor Vehicle Division (driver's license service centers). Its offices close on the state's holiday schedule below — and on weekends. If today isn't one of those, offices run normal business hours.
Iowa does not close for Presidents Day, Juneteenth or Columbus Day. None of the three is a state holiday here.
